Chrome Review

by on September 17, 2012

Chrome has been around for Android for sometime now, but even though the app was speedy there did seem to be a lot that needed fixing. Google new this and has offered up an update, offering a safer browsing experience.

This is because Google has decided to utilise its sandbox technology so if any dodgy sites are found on the app they wont spread to other parts of your phone. As this is a new update it is only available for Android 4.1 users but it is a great addition to what is a very competent browser.

We also liked that the app has been updated so that Swype and Swiftkey users can type into the app without fear of reprisal. And if you fancy using your voice to browse, then type the mic signal next to search box and shout your missives down the phone.

Google Chrome is a very slick app and things like the option to power tab give it a lift above other mobile browsing apps on the market if you are packing Android 4.0 and above, then you should definitely give a try, especially if speed is your MO.
